Give a pond display an extra point of interest with a light designed to float on the water. This solar floating light places its glow inside a rounded decorative housing, bringing the illuminated shape into the scene rather than leaving every light along the edge. The textured shell adds detail in daylight and gives the light a different character once the surrounding space grows darker. Its small scale makes it easy to plan alongside planting, stone, or other features without overwhelming the view. Position the setup where the solar section can receive daylight and where the floating light can be enjoyed as part of the overall arrangement. The result is a decorative accent that draws attention to the water itself, especially when viewed from a nearby seating area. Let the surrounding planting frame the light and keep enough open water around it for the shape to remain visible. Add a little movement and evening atmosphere to the pond you have already made your own.
